The Children's Museum

This past June we had the opportunity to go to the MN Children's Museum for the first time with our kids. It was a rainy icky day, we didn't have any plans so we packed up the kids and took them. They had such a blast and I cannot believe all the exhibits they had!

Logan and Lily really loved the "Clifford the Big Red Dog" exhibit. They both watch the show sometimes so they were thrilled to see it come to life. There was this bone drop thing where kids would put a foam bone on a conveyer belt and it would drop into the bowl. Logan had a really good time doing that. He and Lily also played in the mail center.

There was also Earth World with a huge anthill that the kids had such a great time crawling through! I had to go in and chase them out. There were also streams of water with play frogs and amphibians for the kids to splash in the water with. They both loved that!

We also visited "Habitot" which has bridges, caves, a winter wonderland station and a marsh area. Lily really liked crawling in the marsh area. She wasn't walking quite yet so it was great to have a place to put her down and let her go.

Finally, we visited the "Our World" which has tot sized grocery store, post office, restaurant or drive the MTC bus. Logan really loved pretending to be on the city bus, either as a driver or a passenger. In fact, he really didn't want to explore much other than that once we got to that exhibit.

We didn't get to visit all of the galleries because the kiddos were getting tired and irritable. Next time we will have to make sure that we get to see the rooftop art gallery and "World Works" exhibits.
