It was a great time. The kids had a blast playing in the lake, going on a canoe ride and just hanging out with each other.
We are so blessed to have great friends that are very generous and have children similiar ages to our own. The adults had a pretty good time to! It was nice to stay up late and chit chat around the bonfire.
Maya and Lily played together the entire weekend, whether it was dancing on cement or playing in puddles.
The guys took the kiddos on a canoe ride again this year and they enjoyed being out on the water. We also went on a nature walk, which left all of us tick infested! Ewwww.
The weather was nice except for Monday, when it was rainy. I'm glad it did because it made leaving the cabin much easier for the kiddos. They were ready to go home and didn't kick up too much of a fuss.
We forgot to do the picture of our families together this year but we got plenty of shots of the kids so it will be fun to see how much they've changed in the coming years. We will have to remember to do it if we go again next year! :)
